New Begining

This is my first shot at this. I am not sure where to begin. I know it has a beginning but I'd rather not focus on the start but instead on where we are going from here.
This is crunch time and we want to be ahead of the game. Our time at our home is short and we began looking for a home this past week. I am surprised how much I got involved considering I usually ignore the issues till my wife puts the big sign in front of my face. This time I jumped on it and began looking and setting appointments to see houses. I did it but regretted every phone call I made. I didn't want to leave our home.
We saw our first option and got a look on the inside. It was less room then we were used to but it had some charming points. To be honest it had a lot of things that attracted me to it. A beautiful view of the lake, a backyard that bordered the high school baseball fields, a 3 car garage that makes a special home for my bike and a loft so big that it challenges me to fnd something fun to do with it. It is all nestled in a one street neighborhood I never knew existed. A diamond in the rough, so to speak.
We made several other attempts to see other properties but they fell short. One property manager's car over heated and died a mile away from meeting with us. Another one couldn't even be shown due to the fact there was someone already occupying it even though it showed it vacant. The last final shot was when we were waiting for the owner to get there in 10 minutes. That's when I decided to run past the only one we actually looked at again because I didn't want to just sit it front of this vacant house making the neighbors curious. When we pulled up in front of the house we noticed the next door neighbors returning home from another neighbors house curiously examining us as we were looking at this possible new home. I realized their curiosity and as they walked into their home I pulled into the driveway of the home we were looking at. When we got out of the car they came back out of their home. I took this time to engage in conversation and asked them how the neighborhood was. It was an amazing conversation. He told me how all the neighbors stuck together like a family and how they always got together and hung out. Hearing him speak of his neighbors took me back to my days on Larkspur and I felt at ease. He told me he always ordered the fights and a lot of football games were watched at his home. I do love to watch a good fight and assured him I was a big fan of football. Then he asked me who my favorite team was and I hesitated for the fact that I was living in Charger territory. He told me not to be afraid and just spit it out. When I told him that I have always been a Raiders fan he celebrated in his own way and invited us into his home. His house was beautiful and he showed me his loft, (where the magic happens). It was Raiders all over! After that he continued to tell us about every neighbor and what they do. There is a lot of talent on that street and apparently if a project needs to get done they all are involved.
We saw the house from the outside about 3 times and every time Sam said it felt more like home. After I met the next door neighbors, it sealed the deal with me. A house doesn't make a home; the neighbors do.
I hope we get this place and I hope our new start begins the new hope. I can not lie and say this whole ordeal hasn't damaged me but the chance for a better future enlightens me!

Growing up

Well today is the day, a day that I though I wouldn't see for a while but it came soon than I would ever hoped for, Hailey is in the 6th grade and today was the 1st day of school, I can remember when I started Jr High in 6th grade I was so excited to be with the big kids but so scared also, would I find my classes ok, will I make new friends, will other pick on me and Im sure many of other things crossed my mind, I have been thinking all those same things for Hailey today, I can't wait to pick her up from school today and see how her 1st day of Jr high went, I must say also this is the age when they are to cool for mom to take them to school anymore, as I drove her to school this morning she told me " ok mom you can just drop me off here." so I did about 4 car leghths from the cross walk and she walked in with all the other "big kids" I was sad to watch my little girl cross that street into a whole other world, Im so happy and proud that she is growing into such a wonderful young lady but I still wish she was a little girl going into kindergarten again!
Then it was time to take Madyson to the 4th grade she asked me also mom do you have to walk me to my class and my quick reply to her was " I walked your sister to her 1st day of school all the way thru 5th grade and I will walk you to your class all the way thru the 5th grade also," all she could say was ok mom but I am a big girl and can walk myself, I did walk her to class!
Well it is the time I have been waiting for all day, Time to go and pick up Hailey, will let you know how the 1st day of Jr high went.

So Much Happening!

It's been a while but there has been SO much happening lately, My brother in law and sister in law had a new little baby girl "Leah Caitlin Bliss Trosper" she mad her arrival on the 15th of October She like Madyson found a birthday all of her own with all the October birthday's we have in the the family. We have not had the chance to travel and see her yet but Jim and the girls and I are so excited for the time we will get to go and meet her and see her Mommy and Daddy also, We are hoping that we will be able to go up for Thanksgiving, but we are just waiting to find out if Uncle Jimmy will be able to get the Friday after off from work, We love you Leah and can't wait to meet you,

We also have been spending time as a family every weekend since Jim has had weekends off, Wether it's just hanging out at home, going for a drive or going to Sea World, it has been so much fun having the family together,

We do have a trip planned for Vegas next weekend Im sure it will be fun we have had it planned for several months now, Im sure it will be fun I have never been to Vegas before so im ecxited to see all the sights, Im not much of a gambler so I don't have much of an interest in that but just ready to spend sometime with my girls and Jimmy, Scott to is going so we should have a great time.
I was hoping to reschdule this trip and go up and see Leah but I think the end of the month will be better because we will beable to spend a few more day's with Marque, Sarah and Leah, that's what im excited about, Well I have all this planned but haven't even talked with Marque and Sarah to see if they will be home at this time and are ok with company, so maybe I should start there,

" Marque and Sarah will you guys be home for Thanksgiving or do you have plans if we are able to work it out we are hoping to leave Wedensday after work and stay until Saturday or Sunday, if you already have plans that's ok I understand you have alot going on and we will just make plans for another time." Please let me know if this works or doesn't work for you, and if so I will let you know as soon as we hear from Jim's boss,
